Auditions
EnChor is an auditioned choir for experienced singers 55 years and older. Our regular rehearsal time is 10 to 12 noon, Friday mornings, throughout the regular choral season. We audition prospective singers at the beginning of September, the beginning of January and at the end of May.
If you wish to join EnChor you will be asked to sit in for a rehearsal, followed by an audition with the Artistic Director and the Audition Committee. You will be asked to sing scales and arpeggios to determine range and voice quality, do some sight singing, and sing small sections of the music you rehearsed with the choir. Please contact auditions@enchor.ca if you wish to arrange an audition.
Please note, we are currently not offering auditions to sopranos or altos.
